Helen Amos

Sustainability Consulting Lead for Asia Pacific and Head of Sustainability Hong Kong

Helen Amos, Sustainability Consulting Lead for Asia Pacific and Head of Sustainability Hong Kong, has 20 years’ experience in the sustainability sector. She specialises in the development and implementation of decarbonisation targets and strategies for both operational and embodied carbon. She has a wealth of knowledge on how to face challenges in achieving carbon reduction in the real estate sector for investors, building owners and occupiers.

Helen leverages her international expertise from delivering projects in Asia, Africa and the UK in commercial real estate, retail and industrial assets to drive measurable outcomes, working with both investors and occupiers.

Samuel Dong, Chi

Director of Property Services

Having serviced over 23 years in Chinachem Group, Mr. Dong has in-depth understandings on the changes over needs on property & facility management from a corporate perspective and has been leading a professional team to cope with these transitions and challenges throughout the years. Mr. Dong now oversees the Group’s local portfolio as well as other third-party assets comprising of about 200 properties and over 1,600 staff providing comprehensive services ranging from facility management, security, environmental and M&E services.

Mr. Dong is a Chartered Member of MRICS in Facility Management and the Chairman of the Property & Facility Management Division of HKIREA. He holds a degree in Building Surveying from Coventry University and earns his Master of Business Administration from Hong Kong Baptist University.

My Sustainability Goals for 2023:

Partnering with more talents in innovations, I am excited to explore and put in place more PropTech in buildings to drive a greener built environment for our generations to come.

 

Christina Hau

Chief Executive Officer

Ms Christina Hau is the Chief Executive Officer of Champion Real Estate Investment Trust, overseeing its strategic development, asset management, asset enhancement and investment opportunities.

Ms Hau is a Registered Architect in Hong Kong with over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, covering design, planning, project management and asset management of renowned world-class commercial complexes. Prior to joining the REIT Manager, Ms Hau worked at Hong Kong’s leading real estate listed companies overseeing key investment properties in Mainland China.

Ms Hau graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with degrees in Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons). She is a member of Hong Kong Institute of Architects and Vice-Chairman of Commercial Properties Research Association under China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce.

I aspire to harness resources and champion greater resilience for our ecosystem. By fostering collaborative efforts, we build a blossoming and sustainable Hong Kong together.

Ir Rocky Lau

Head of Building Solutions

Ir Rocky Lau is an experienced and qualified system solutions professional who leads the Building Solutions team at EnerRight Intelligent Limited. He provides consulting and innovative building solutions for energy efficiency and sustainable development.

Ir Rocky is also involved in various professional societies and holds multiple certifications in different fields, he is highly active in various professional society positions in the industry, including Vice Chairman of Executive Committee at Asia Institute of Intelligent Buildings, Technical Advisor at CE100 Hong Kong, and Committee Member of Energy Institute Hong Kong.

He holds various professional qualifications in different areas, including MASHRAE, MCIBSE, MEI, MBSOMES, MHKIE, MHKICBIM, MInstMC, FAIIB, FHKCE, FIEAust, APEC Engineer, CEng, CPEng, IntPE, AEE CAP, PMI PMP, RCx Pro, REA and RPE.

Paul Tam

Leasing Director

Paul is in charge of the leasing and asset management of the Grade A commercial buildings for PAG’s Hong Kong portfolio, including Manulife Place and Goldin Financial Global Centre. He has over 17 years’ of office leasing experience, with recent focus on asset management from ESG
perspectives. Prior to joining PAG, Paul worked in JLL for over 12 years in office leasing advisory business, covering both Hong Kong and Kowloon markets.

My Sustainability Goals for 2023:

I hope more landlords in Hong Kong will closely collaborate with their tenants to achieve common ESG goals.

William Yu

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. William Yu is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of World Green Organisation. He is an energy economist and climate professional by training and completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge. He earned an Executive MBA from the Thunderbird Global Management School, U.S.. Dr. Yu also completed a Sustainable Finance Programme at Cambridge and accredited by UNDP as trainer on United Nations SDG Impact Standards. Additionally, Dr. Yu is the scholarship recipient of the Executive Education in non-profit strategic management at the Harvard Business School.

Dr. Yu is ESBN Task Force Member, The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, the United Nations and the Vice-Chair of Asia Pacific Business Forum (APBF) of the United Nations ESBN 2022. He is also a member in Advisory Council on the Environment (ACE), Environment and Ecology Bureau and member in newly established Council for Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development, HKSAR Government.
